Earth Rangers: Bring Back the Wild!

Today, we had the good fortune to be visited by the Earth Rangers Bring Back the Wild Program. 

 Earth Rangers is a Kid's Conservation Organization. http://www.earthrangers.com/


Their mission: To provide children with the opportunity to protect animals, to improve the environment, and to make a difference in the world by empowering them to bring back the wild.

Children can join Earth Rangers online, start an online campaign and choose one of four endangered wild animals to protect by initiating a fundraising campaign.

 1) Bobolink          2) Western Screech Owl              3) Swift Fox             4) Eastern Wolf






Students were excited when the various animals were introduced to them. Some were even trained to do tricks like walk on a tight rope and choose the right colour.

    My favorite animal they brought was the pine martin, and when they asked what animal i would save if I was an earth ranger, I raised my hand for the western wolf and the swift fox.
